    When choosing which texture of extensions to go with, you need to think about how you ultimately want to style your hair. If you have naturally curly hair but always wear it straight, then you will want to have straight, hand-tied hair extensions installed. If you have naturally curly hair and want to keep it styled naturally, you will want to go with curly hair.

  • Hand-tied extensions are the TYPE of weft used; IBE® is the method used to install the hair extensions.

  • I recommend your first follow-up appointment at 7 weeks. At that time, we will evaluate your grow-out and determine if you can go longer in between appointments. During your appointment, we will remove your extensions, assess any adjustments that need to be made, and reinstall the extensions. On average, one has their rows reinstalled between 8-10 weeks.

  • Yes! Gym hair is best in a braid or ponytail. If you sweat excessively, we recommend prepping your hair the same way you would if swimming. After your workout, our go-to dry shampoo is innersense or Amika

  • Yes! You can swim with your extensions. I recommend doing so with a tight braid and leaving it in conditioner. Be sure to keep your extensions away from sunscreen that contains Avobenzone, as the chemicals can alter the color and quality of the extensions. I recommend using Goldie Locks Mineral Sunscreen to avoid this reaction.

  • No, the IBE® method focuses on the health of your hair and scalp to prevent damage to your natural hair. The extensions will not cause any damage to your hair as long as they are maintained properly.
